Introducing The First Cohort Of Seedscout Auto Intro Users
Guaranteed Network Expansion? Yes Please!
Seedscout is powered by two forces: Intro requests and auto intros. Intro requests can be sent to anyone else on the platform. They are double opt in, so one user can send an intro request to another user, and as long as that user “accepts” the intro request, both users are automatically introduced. This is a concept called a double opt in introduction. which is a standard way a lot of people operate in Silicon Valley, NYC, etc.
Auto intros, on the other hand, are something that we at the Seedscout team just made up out of thin air. Auto intros essentially mean a user on Seedscout can trigger an introduction to another user, and the introduction happens automatically. No double opt in necessary.
This isn’t possible for every user though; this can only be used on auto intro enabled users. If someone has auto intros ON, then they are fair game to trigger an intro to. Of course, each auto intro user has a capacity of meetings they’re able to have every month so they aren’t overwhelmed or pushed past their agreed commitment. All of this is codified into the Seedscout platform.
We’ve been running the auto intro program for over a year and made the decision we want to highlight our current auto intro users for the world to see. Some of these names you’ll recognize. Some you won’t. But I promise you there will be someone you see that you wish you had an auto intro to. Well, if you sign up for Seedscout, you’ll be able to meet them. With that, let’s get into the first cohort of auto intro users.

Each of these auto intro users have a unified belief that the startup world should be more open, inclusive, and accessible. That’s what binds us all. In addition, they are strong in skillset, diverse in background, and ready to help YOU. If you want an intro to any of these people, sign up for Seedscout and use your auto intro on them. And yes, of course you could add every one of them on LinkedIn and try to get a meeting without using Seedscout. But at some point, you need to evaluate what your time is worth and what’s going to move the needle in your career and what’s not going to. Onward to network expansion!
